The TAE 40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment replaces the old Certificate IV TAA40104) as the new formal qualification for those wishing to work as a trainer/assessor.

Training is conducted at your site in the Illawarra, Sydney or interstate or why not join one of our public classes in beautiful Kiama, 30 minutes south of Wollongong.

The TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is a Ntaionalyy Recognised qualification and is aimed at people who:

  • Conduct training as part of their work role
  • Are a supervisor or manager
  • Want to enter the training industry
  • Are responsible for developing and/or delivering training/assessment programs

 

There are 10 units of competency that make up the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and are listed below.

Learning Design (DES) – 2 units 

  • TAEDES401B  Design and develop learning programs
  • TAEDES402B Use training packages and accredited courses to meet client needs

Delivery and Facilitation (DEL) – 2 units

  • TAEDEL401B Plan, organise and delivery group-based learning
  • TAEDEL402B Plan, organise and facilitate learning in the workplace      

Enterprise Trainer (ETR) – 2 units              

  • TAEDEL301A Provide work skill instruction
  • BSBCMM401AMake a presentation


Assessment Core Units (4 units)

  • TAEASS301A Contribute to assessment
  • TAEASS401A Plan assessment activities and processes
  • TAEASS402A Assess competence
